motor gearboxes with built-in frequency regulators are maintenance-free drives which can drive the ventilation- and screen systems in greenhouses. These motor gearboxes make it possible to drive a system with "low" (normal) and a"high" speed. These speeds can be set using the programable parameter settings in the frequency regulator. The motor gearboxes are already pre-set on delivery; all the parameters for the frequency regulator are adjusted according to standard values. The parameters can be quickly and easily reset to the operational values using the optional manual console.

The motor gearboxes is easy to connect and is driven (revolution directions and speed) by connecting the digital inputs. This makes it possible to drive the two revolution speeds ("low" and "high") in two directions. The electrical components for the frequency regulator are sealed in a housing with an IP65 protection grade, which gives the frequency regulator a high degree of protection against humidity and vibration. The frequency regulators conform to the EMC guidelines (Class A). These electric motors are standard tropics resistant and conform to protection class IP55.

The self-braking wheel transmission for the motor gearboxes guarantees that the drive shaft is locked when the drive is not operating. The combination of the carefully mutually-tuned gear and wheel transmissions means that the drive runs almost silently.

The motor gearboxes are equipped with a patented inbuilt linear limiting switch system with control and safety switches with a high degree of switch precision. The maximum switching range for the limiting switch system amounts to 86 revolutions of the drive shaft. By using a potentiometer with the optional built-in set, it is possible to feed back the positions of a drive system very precisley to a (climate) computer.
An external switch signal will be required in order to switch from the “high” to the “low” (normal) speed.

The motor gearboxes are finished with a graphite-grey powder coating and are supplied with locking bolts and washers.
